Project: To construct 1 block of 3 x 1 bed & 3 x 2 bed apartments
Value: In excess £500,000
After a number of consultations with Numark Homes Ltd, All Construction submitted the costings to build a block of 6 apartments in Dover, Kent.
The block was to consist of 3 x 1 bedroom apartments & 3 x 2 bedroom apartments over 3 storey's. There was to a be communal hallway with a single flight of stairs leading to each apartment.
There was to be a communal, walled garden to the rear aspect and a car park to the front with sufficient provision for cyclists.
After careful scrutiny of the building plans, it was clear that these were to be very high specification properties.
There was an emphasis on using energy saving materials within the construction process and providing modern, high tech facilities within the apartments.
Once awarded the building contract, the entire building process was completed within 11 months and residents moving in a month afterwards.
To take what was once a scrap yard and develop it into 6 brand new homes near the sea and with views across to Dover Castle, really was a pleasure.
